Hotel bookings of RTDC will now a click away

The corporation will introduce online reservation facility for all its hotels in the state from June onwards

Considering the problems faced by tourists in booking hotel room, the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) has planned to introduce online booking facility for all its hotels in the state from June onwards.

After the facility is launched, tourists would be able to check the room availability, room and food charges of any RTDC hotel and restaurant across the state.

RTDC has 44 large and small hotels at major tourist destinations in the state. Booking for these hotels is done through RTDC offices. Earlier, the centre reservation offices of the tourism department used to coordinated bookings for RTDC hotels, but now the corporation will have its own the integrated online booking system.

Royal Rajasthan On Wheels


Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is a brand new indian luxury train that will begin from 11 January 2009.The international standards and facilities offered on this train is expected to provide a laxurious travel experience to the passengers.The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is joint venture of Rajasthan tourism Development cooperation(R.T.D.C.) and Rajasthan Railways.
Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is expected to offer a more luxurious traveling experience to the passengers than what any of the other luxury trains can offer. Only about 82 passengers will be allowed on the train, which is less than what the Palace on Wheels luxury train carries-130. The cabins offer facilities like bed, hot and cold running water, Internet Wi-Fi system, and also an attendant per coach. Extra features offered by the Deluxe cabins include Channel Music and Public Address.
